Want to see what I have to put up with??? There was a visitor in the town the other day when I went to visit, some dude from Kenema (bigger town), so I went to greet him like I greet everybody else. Later on he came to visit the island and he said he had come to visit me. I sort of just ignored him and went on with my business. He asked for my phone number and I told him I couldn’t remember it. He gave me his number, begging me to call him when I am in Kenema. I told him I don’t go to Kenema very much. He left and I forgot about him.
So then this morning I get a letter delivered by one of the security guys. I’ll just type it out for your reading pleasure.
“Hello April, for your information I have been looking for you for a long time since you have been here for researching. I, Mr. Unisa Jalloh, have a great love of marrieding you as my house wife. Me why I am kindly appor giving you to please expect my voice. I am a foreign man from Guinea and I am now staying at Kenema. Kindly reply this note as soon as possible for I am eager to know your mind. Thanks for your conpret, Mr Unisa Jalloh. Reply needed on Thursday.”
