I know I have mentioned this before, but I'll mention it again - there are some crazy bugs here!! Mr. Magona came to tell me there was a tarantula in the latrine. I went with my camera to take a picture - that thing was definitely NOT a tarantula. That was something from my worst nightmares. I don't know how to begin to describe it. It made me scream like a little girl and run away! I've dubbed it "the monster that lives in the latrine" but the people here just call it a biting spider. No way am I getting near enough to that thing to get bitten.
I've also been bitten by something that made a welt bigger than the spread of my hand. The skin is hard, and swollen and hot. My coffee has been commandeered by honey bees. I've tried to reclaim it to no avail. Oh well.
